CMM Accessories

TNUK offers a range of accessories to extend the use and functionality of your CMM reference spheres

Fixing Studs

Our new generation CMM is manufactured with an internal M8 thread, this allows for the customer to use a fixing stud to enable them to mount the CMM reference sphere to any coordinate measuring machine table.

Angle Base

Allowing a 45 Degree, the block is designed to suit the new generation CMM reference sphere and enable the customer to achieve easier access. Manufactured with an M8 internal thread at the base and also at a 45 degree angle.

CMM Extension Bar

Used to extend the sphere's height for easier access. Manufactured with an internal M8 thread at one end and external M8 at the other.

Magnetic Base

This allows you to fix a CMM reference sphere to any suitable coordinate measuring machine table and be used in conjunction with an angled base and CMM extension bars. To increase accuracy we centre the magnet by skimming the surface to ensure it is true flat. Any slight angle on either side of the magnet, although not visible to the naked eye, could cause measurement inaccuracies in coordinate measuring machines.
